LOD (Level of Development) defines how much detail and information a BIM element contains — ranging from LOD 100 (conceptual massing) to LOD 500 (as-built, with real-world tolerances). Most UAE/GCC authorities and contractors work to LOD 300–400 for construction. We'll recommend the right LOD for your project phase during our initial brief.
Yes — we routinely start from 2D AutoCAD drawings, PDFs, and even scanned as-built drawings. Our team traces, interprets, and builds accurate 3D Revit models from whatever documentation you have. For existing buildings, we also offer Scan to BIM using point cloud data.
Timeline depends on project size, complexity, and how quickly design information is available. A mid-size floor plate (2,000–4,000 m²) typically takes 3–6 weeks from information receipt to a clash-free federated model. We'll provide a detailed programme with milestones at the start of every engagement.
Yes. We work in alignment with Dubai Municipality BIM requirements, Abu Dhabi's Digital Twin Initiative, and Saudi Vision 2030 project standards. Our BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) are structured to meet authority submission requirements across all major UAE and KSA jurisdictions.
We deliver native Revit (.RVT), federated Navisworks (.NWD/.NWF), IFC (Open BIM), DWG, and PDF. Model sharing is via Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) or your preferred CDE. We can also produce custom exports for Archibus, Maximo, or other FM platforms.
All clashes are identified in Navisworks Manage and exported as BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) reports. We categorise by discipline, severity, and location — then host coordination meetings to resolve each item. A clash matrix is maintained throughout the project until all critical clashes reach zero.
